NEW-ZEALAND SHIPPING:
We use NZ Post for shipping within New Zealand.
In economy your order will normally take 2 to 3 working days within the North Island and 1 to 2 days to the South Island.
Once your order is placed you will get a follow up email to let you know that your order has been received, followed by another email to let you know when your order complete and dispatched.
Dispatching is normally done the same day but sometimes it could take up to 48h.
Overnight Shipping :
We also offer option of overnight shipping to any address in New Zealand if your order is placed before 1pm, Monday to Friday. That is an extra 5$ per order. Seashell Story is not responsible for any delay due to New Zealand Post. In the unlikely case that Seashell Story is unable to ship your order that same day , you would be refunded your courier fee of $5 and your order will be courier the next working day instead.
RD Road :
If you address shows up as RD road and you haven’t paid the correct RD delivery, you parcel will not be send and you will receive an email to pay the $5 RD surcharge. Keep in mind it will also delay delivery time because your parcel will not be send until the complete shipping fee is confirmed.
Signature upgrade :
Our service economy or courrier is non-signature required, it means your item will be left in your mailbox unless advise otherwise. If you want the security of signing for your item, please send us message to update your shipping to courrier with the extra for signature. We are not responsible for items marked as delivered, which might go missing.
Christmas Shipping Deadlines :
The last day for delivery in time for Christmas (within NZ) is Monday 20 December, 3pm NZT. For a full and thorough list of international shipping cut-off dates, please see the NZ Post website – Key Sending Dates.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
Australia Economy – Estimate Delivery : time 3 to 10 days
America Economy – Estimate Delivery : time 4 to 15 days
Europe Economy – Estimate Delivery : time 6 to 15 days
Rest of the World Economy – Estimate Delivery : time 6 to 20 days
When overseas orders are placed, please wait at least 48h to received confirmation that your order has been processed. If shipping cost needs an upgrade, you will also be notified by email.
JEWELLERY & PRECIOUS STONE (INCLUDING POUNAMU) :
It is now prohibited to send jewellery and precious stone from New Zealand to any other country in Economy. Any overseas order containing jewellery and precious stone will need to be upgraded to courier.
SIGNATURE AND EXPRESS DELIVERY:
Our parcel (standard and non-signature required) service means your item will be left. If you want the security of signing for your item, you would need to have your order courrier, please send a message to contact@seashellstory.co.nz so we can update your shipping. We are not responsible for items marked as delivered, which might go missing.
TAX & DUTIES :
For overseas orders, any tax or duty charges upon arrival are determined by each country’s customs agency and are out of our control. We do not cover these costs.
