These stunning Black Mother of Pearl (MOP) shells are sustainably sourced and polished to reveal their natural brilliance. Known for their deep, smoky iridescence with flashes of green, blue, and bronze, they’re perfect for jewellery making, coastal décor, or gifting as unique ring dishes.

The natural lime coating on the back is ground off to a fine finish and coated with a clear lacquer. This process reveals the genuine natural beauty and colour of the shell under the lime. “The Black MOP” is the French Polynesian Variety of Pearl Oyster.
